i absolutely love my purchase! i have been in search for an elegant and vintage-vibe notebook for quite some time now. imagine my joy when i discovered loktaa! i take my journal everywhere (i use it as a calendar & notebook). it is super lightweight, which makes it very easy to carry in my bag. i even had a waitress compliment the book when i was journaling at a local cafe ;)
pros:
— lovely texture for those who favours vintage and handmade aesthetics.
— if you use a regular ballpen, the surface feels really nice to write on. it doesn’t bleed through.
— this is fantastic if you like to create those memory or craft journals, in which you have lots of cut-outs and just glue/tape them to the pages. this notebook is durable for all of that, especially if you favour the vintage style.
cons:
— cannot use eraser because fibre will rub off.
— cannot use ink pens and fineliners because fibre will rub off. they will also bleed through the paper if you overwork it.
— this is subjective, but i like my notebooks to have a back pocket. the notebooks from loktaa doesn’t come with it, so i ended up creating it myself with a lovely sample paper provided by the lovely supriya.
overall, i am super happy with the product! just wish i could use more type of media than just a regular ballpen.
I now have three of my own journals from the Ratna collection, and it is my favourite collection from LOKTAA. All of the LOKTAA journals are a stunning fusion of durability and character; and my newest Ratna journal is no different. I will always recommend LOKTAA for personal use and as gifts.
An absolutely stunning journal. The cover is beautiful. The pages (and cover) are soft to the touch. It's going to be a delight to fill these pages!
Absolutely gorgeous journal, just as pictured. It came faster than expected and came with a cute hand written note. Would highly recommend this store!
